Well, to be fair, it’s lots of modernized components made to look like they are period correct, like how they are machined aluminum wheels that have been custom painted to look exactly like the original wood wheels, and the suspension setup is so far removed from the original it’s practically a different car in that respect.
This car is, though, the perfect example of a restomod. It’s a car that has the look and feel of something period combined with modern improvements to make something wonderful.

Seriously, the combination of encasing the engine in a box that makes it look like the original and the switch that makes it misfire in a way that makes it sound exactly like the original engine makes this one of my favorite cars in the world. It’s everything good about restomodding.

Seriously. All the steps they took to make it seem as original as possible are commendible in ways non-car people will never understand. It’s a beautiful piece of work.

The owner is quite famous Finnish rally driver. He has got quite nice collection of fast cars.
